Membership Policy
Congratulations on becoming a Wilba Member! (or at least thinking about becoming one)
A Wilba Membership lasts for twelve months and everything you need to know about becoming/being a member is detailed below.
Becoming a Member
When you sign up to become a member you can choose to pay either monthly or annually. For public membership it’s £5 a month or £50 for the year. Businesses it’s £100 a month or £1000 for twelve months. If you would like donate more you are more than welcome and it will most definitely be appreciated- remember that every £15 donated will go towards your Habitat Creation Total. You can sign up online via the Membership pages; we will ask you for a few personal details when you join, such as your email and address. Please see our Privacy Policy for how we store and use your information.
Renewing your membership
When you sign up, you will have the option of a ‘one-time’ membership or repeating your membership annually. If you’ve chosen annually- great! Your membership will simply roll-over each year. If you’ve opted for ‘one-time’ don’t worry! We’ll get in contact just before your membership ends to check if you’d like to continue doing great things for nature!
Membership Number
When you sign up you will receive an email with your unique membership number. If you choose to donate more at any point throughout the year (either online or at a Wilba event) make sure you reference your membership number so we can add the information to your account- this means we can keep a track for your Habitat Creation Total and your Membership Milestones!
Anonymity
If you want to become a Member- either public or business- but don’t want to appear on the leaderboards, just let us know by writing a comment in the box when you sign up. That way you can still fund fantastic habitat creation and receive all the other benefits.

Every Spring and Autumn you’ll receive our Members’ Newsletter, full of updates on projects, environmental & agricultural news and spectacular photography.
Entry to the Public Leaderboard
Who doesn’t like a bit of healthy competition? For every £15 donated we can create 1 square-meter of habitat. On our Public Leaderboard, you’ll see our top 5 public members - these are the individuals who have helped create the largest amount of habitat.
Members Only Events
Throughout the year we run events for our Public Members including talks from experts, a range of workshops (like birdbox building), project walks, and socials to connect you with like-minded people.
Invite a Friend Scheme
We need your help to spread the word about Wilba! If someone you refer joins Wilba, you’ll receive a free gift - just make sure your friend mentions your name in the comments section when they sign up!
An Invite to The Wilba Group Chat
We use Discord as our main method of communication. When you become a member you’ll receive a code that allows you to join the group on the app.
Member Milestones
Of course, we want to measure your success! You’ll receive an e-certificate when you hit certain milestones based on the duration of your membership and the amount of habitat you help create.

We’ve created Wilba logos specifically for our Business Members to display on their website to show you’re a Friend of Wilba and your commitment to conservation.
